Gabrielle Anwar was born on the 4th of February 1970 in Laleham, Middlesex, England. Her father was the Lebanese born Tariq Anwar who was also an award winning film editor. Her mother was a famous English actress. Gabrielle grew up in Laleham. From 1975 to 1982 she attended the Laleham Primary and Middle School. Then in her last year at the Laleham C. of E. Primary and Middle School she appeared in the school concert. After her middle school she went to London to study dance and drama.

Gabrielle Anwar is most famous for her roles in the movies Three Musketeers and Body Snatchers. She also danced tango in the now classic dance scene in Scent of a Woman. Prior to these memorable roles, Gabrielle was also seen in the television series Press Gang. For this year, she was in the television series Burn Notice where she played the character of Fiona Glenanne. She stars opposite actor Jeffrey Donovan.

Gabrielle Anwar’s first acting debut was in the miniseries Hideaway. She first appeared on the big screen in the film Manifesto. This was followed by another television appearance in the First Born. Several television appearances followed her remarkable performance, including Summer’s Lease, The Mysteries of the Dark Jungle and Press Gang.
